This is Metafor most recent work. Medicine garden is a song about addictions to drugs and the deadly results that happen when people abuse them. This song reflects what has happened to a few of Metafor’s friends in the past. Metafor’s song is not a political anti drug song but a sincere manifestation of a heartfelt loss of friends that have been taken by the abuse of them. This song also reflects Max’s relationship with his sister who called their relationship at one time the “cosmic connection” [lyrics in the song] but because of his sisters relentless drug and alcohol abuse that relationship ended. The song also has some identifying marks with people that have survived drug abuse and then come back to be religious holy rollers thereby cursing and scolding everyone that uses drugs and alcohol. Metafor remains neutral in this political battle and hopes that you enjoy their latest work Medicine Garden.
